IPIECA and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP) have combined to address this issue. The committee prepares guidelines, holds conferences and workshops on topics of common interest, and promotes the adoption of common standards among members.
The OGP-IPIECA health committee (OIHC) aims
to identify, prioritize, and develop evidence-based guidance and recommendations
on a range of strategic, occupational, environmental and public health issues
relevant to our respective members. Additionally,
it provides a forum for members to identify debate and share best health
practice.
