Workshop on Tiered Preparedness and Response in the Gulf Region
Bahrain, 22 October 2007

IPIECA organised a one day workshop on Tiered Preparedness and Response in the Gulf region on the 22nd October. The workshop aimed to enable all stakeholders to gain a better understanding of how Tiered Preparedness and Response works in the Gulf region, with opportunities to examine why, in practice, gaps and cracks often appear between the old rigid definitions of Tier 1, especially Tier 2 and established Tier 3.
