IPIECA is pleased to announce that the third Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BES) Peer-to-Peer training workshop: Managing Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services issues in the oil and gas industry will take place this year 17-18 November 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand hosted by PTTEP.
This workshop is part of a training series that has been developed by IPIECA, in collaboration with the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP), and the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC). The training is aimed at, and delivered by, oil and gas professionals, and has been designed to be highly interactive to facilitate learning.
The workshop will be an excellent opportunity to engage with the oil and gas sector on the topic of BES issue management in the South-East Asia region. It will scheduled back-to-back with the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) 2016 (14-16 November 2016).
Bangkok workshop details:
- Date: 17-18 November 2016
- Location: Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Bangkok, Thailand (hosted by PTTEP).
- Attendance: Registration is open to all oil and gas producing companies.
- Target audience: HSE professionals, managers, practitioners (both at corporate and business unit level) and relevant field staff who deal with environmental/BES issues and their integration into business practices, processes and operations.
- Cost: Free.
