Global Scale and Pace of Technology Deployment – Focus on CCS
Thursday 11 December, 15:00 – 17:00, BINGO room, Pavilion 15
Creating technology options to meet global demand for energy with low greenhouse gas emissions is essential to climate change risk management. The pace of commercial technology deployment is hence also critical. Panellists examined and discussed issues that can drive or hinder deployment of technology. Topics included the transformation of the global energy infrastructure, CCS business models, and policy frameworks to enable widespread deployment of low-carbon technologies.
