A Spanish version of the Implementation Guidance Tools (IGT) on the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPs) is now available. The tools were developed in collaboration with the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), the International Financial Corporation (IFC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and translated with the assistance of Repsol. 

The VPs are designed to help extractive companies maintain the safety and security of their operations within an operating framework that ensures respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms and, when applicable, for international humanitarian law. The tools serve as a reference guide to any company seeking to ensure that its operations are undertaken in a manner that ensures respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
