World Health Organization

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It provides leadership on global health matters on behalf of the UN. It shapes the health research agenda, sets standards, articulates evidence-based policy options, provides technical support to countries, and monitors and assesses health trends.

Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

Designed as a public-private partnership, the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC) has become the leading funding agency for global health. It incorporates the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and is a vital partner in the business fight against these pandemics. The GBC's key partners include UNAIDS, the governments of China, Kenya and the US, and the Millennium Foundation.

Other organizations

The OGP-IPIECA Health Committee engages with the health committees and health specialists of many global and supra-national organizations in order to exchange information and knowledge on areas of common interest. These include:
