Ipieca is pleased to announce that the third Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BES) Peer-to-Peer training workshop: Managing Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services issues in the oil and gas industry will take place this year 30-31 May 2018 in Sandton, South Africa hosted by Eni and SAPIA.

This workshop is part of a training series that has been developed by Ipieca, in collaboration with the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP), and the UN Environment WCMC. The training is aimed at, and delivered by, oil and gas professionals, and has been designed to be highly interactive to facilitate learning.

Cape Town workshop details:

  • Date: 30-31 May 2018
  • Location: Sandton, South Africa (Hosted by Eni and SAPIA).
  • Attendance: Registration is open to all O&G producing companies, attendance will be free for Ipieca-IOGP members.
  • Target audience: HSE professionals, managers, practitioners (both at corporate and business unit level) and relevant field staff who deal with environmental/BES issues and their integration into business practices, processes and operations.
  • Cost: Free.
