Ipieca has developed a series of practical guidance and toolson managing labour rights to support practitioners in addressing potential human rights impacts and issues, particularly in the industry's supply chain.
These resources have three aims:

  • to help practitioners more effectively identify, prevent and mitigate labour rights risks and impacts within projects, operations and supply chains;
  • inform stakeholders of the industry's collective commitment and efforts to respect labour rights, and
  • help anticipate emerging trends and challenges.

This webinar will provide a brief overview of the documents and an opportunity to hear from the authors about how the resources can be used to support responsible recruitment, carry out labour rights assessments and implement effective worker grievance mechanisms.
