Since 2019, QatarEnergy has been participating as one of the supporting companies of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) with data concerning the participating countries where they operate projects.

The company recognises that in today's global environment all organisations need to conduct themselves in a principled and legally compliant manner. It is committed to achieving the highest standards of business practice. The company's newly launched Code of Conduct outlines how the enterprise has committed to ethical behaviour and building and supporting a strong culture of collaboration, integrity and trust. In particular, QatarEnergy supports the State of Qatar's National Vision 2030 of balancing accomplishments that achieve economic growth with the human and resource needs of the people of Qatar. Furthermore, it is committed to ensuring that it is free from any form of corruption and works proactively to ensure that it complies with all applicable laws and international conventions.

The EITI implementing countries where QatarEnergy operates are Angola, Argentina, Guyana, Mexico, Mozambique, Suriname and United Kingdom.
