Reducing methane emissions is one of the most practical opportunities for the oil and gas industry to support near-term climate action. Progress on methane emissions requires more than a single solution. It relies on credible emissions data, effective abatement measures and technologies that help operators identify and respond to emissions across diverse assets and operating environments.

Ipieca, in partnership with IGU, IOGP and OGDC, is launching a three-part webinar series focused on West Africa. The series will bring together Ipieca member companies to share practical experience, technologies and case studies that can support operators in detecting, measuring and reducing methane emissions.

Through company-led examples and regional perspectives, the series will provide an opportunity to learn about approaches being used across the industry and consider how these experiences can help address methane management in West Africa.

After the webinar series, a summary report will be produced with links to relevant resources.
