While large-scale projects are already operating today, significant growth in deployment is needed over the coming decades to help achieve global climate goals. Realising this potential will require progress across a range of technical, regulatory, financial and societal dimensions.

Collectively, the series demonstrated that scaling CCS requires collaboration across governments, industry, financiers and communities. While challenges remain, growing policy support, increased investment and continued innovation are helping to build momentum for the wider deployment of CCS and its contribution to industrial decarbonisation and net-zero ambitions.
