The April round-up showcases continued investment in the energy transition alongside community and nature focused initiatives. Key themes include financing for low-carbon fuels, quantifying carbon stock in Brazil, partnerships to support education, and marine and coastal ecosystem restoration.

The Review demonstrates how Ipieca is delivering on its strategic intent and provides a summary of activities and outputs from across Ipieca's work programme. It also features testimonials from member CEOs and stakeholders, as well as insights from working group Chairs.

This quarter Ipieca attended the UNCBD Regional Africa Business & Biodiversity Forum and the IMO technical seminar on marine biofuels. We also raised awareness of the UN World Water Day, as well publishing two resources aligned with UN conventions and initiatives.

Ipieca supported and took part in the forum, which highlighted sector-specific solutions to accelerate biodiversity mainstreaming, inform COP17 outcomes and strengthen regional reporting and implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework.
