This quarter Ipieca attended the UNCBD Regional Africa Business & Biodiversity Forum and the IMO technical seminar on marine biofuels. We also raised awareness of the UN World Water Day, as well publishing two resources aligned with UN conventions and initiatives.

One of Ipieca’s core roles is to support UN conventions and agreements. We provide technical input when requested, raise awareness and support, and develop good practice guidance that enables the oil, gas and alternative energy industry to advance these global frameworks.

This quarter Ipieca attended the Bonn Climate Conference, supporting preparations for COP30 and provided technical input to the IMO’s Marine Environment Protection Committee meeting.
