Title: Climate Change Coordinator
Reports to: Technical Director
Location: IPIECA London office, Basinghall Street, London EC2V 5DE (with agile working available)~
Salary: £24,000 PA

IPIECA is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join the team by supporting the climate and energy team in delivering our vision for supporting the energy transition in the context of sustainable development.


IPIECA is the global oil and gas industry association for advancing environmental and social performance. It convenes a significant portion of the oil and gas value chain and brings together the expertise of members and stakeholders to provide leadership for the industry on advancing climate action, environmental responsibility, social performance and mainstreaming sustainability.

In a world aspiring to a net-zero future, IPIECA acts as a catalyst to bring experts together to advance member contributions to the pathways to a resilient low emissions future and uphold IPIECA’s position as part of the international dialogue on the energy transition.

Through our work on issues such as greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy efficiency and reducing the impact of fuel emissions, IPIECA is helping the industry be part of the climate change solution. IPIECA leads engagement with United Nations agencies on behalf of the membership, including UNFCCC, IPCC, UNEP, IMO and ICAO, and has an ongoing record of convening expert workshops to explore key climate-related issues, informing the industry and stakeholders.

By doing this, IPIECA helps the oil and gas industry manage its environmental impact and address climate risks while it works to meet the increasing demand for energy.
