Ipieca has joined the Council for Inclusive Capitalism. The Council for Inclusive Capitalism is a global non-profit organization that joins moral and market imperatives to build a more inclusive, sustainable, and trusted economic system that addresses the needs of people and the planet.

'Ipieca has long been a champion for strong environmental and social performance in the oil and gas industry. As the world confronts the urgent need for a just energy transition for workers, communities, and consumers, Ipieca and its members' bold leadership and cross-sector collaboration will be essential to scaling action for a value creation that takes on our climate and inequality crises. I am delighted to welcome Ipieca to the Council for Inclusive Capitalism as an Ally,' said Meredith Sumpter, CEO of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.

The Council for Inclusive Capitalism is rooted in action. Upon joining, new members share resources and ideas that will catalyze action in the economy that advances the inclusive capitalism movement. Private sector members, called stewards, commit their organizations to specific, measurable actions to operate in ways that advance a more inclusive capitalism. Each commitment is mapped by industry, region, and business size and is mapped to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and World Economic Forum Sustainable Value Creation Pillar.

The Council for Inclusive Capitalism is a hub for private sector actions and resources for others to learn from and put forth their own actions. The result is a community of ideas that advances the most impactful private sector practices at scale.

Membership is open to all companies and organizations who are advancing more inclusive and sustainable business practices through their work. You can see the full list of members here.
