Ipieca works to support MARPOL through a range of expertise around technologies, GHG emissions reduction, marine spill preparedness and response, health and safety.

2021 marks the official end of leaded petrol use worldwide. Working through the UNEP-backed Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles, Ipieca and its members have contributed to the total phase out of leaded petrol.
