Sustainable supply chains

The oil and gas industry business model is dependent on suppliers, in all phases of the value chain and during all stages of an asset’s lifecycle. Therefore, responsible management of the supply chain, and supporting local contractors and suppliers, is critical to improving a company’s overall environmental and social performance.

IPIECA promotes the integration of socially and environmentally responsible practices across the entire oil and gas supply chain. By informing and supporting the industry on the management of supply chain sustainability risks, and by responding to emerging expectations and standards, IPIECA aims to improve contractor and supplier performance.
