It reflects the work that Ipieca and its members, in partnership with UN, NGO, civil society and academic stakeholders, carried out to guide the industry’s oil, gas and alternative energy activities to support an accelerated energy transition which also enhances people’s lives and the environment.
In 2022, Ipieca launched 22 publications, briefings and tools, produced almost 30 webinars, participated in over 30 international conferences and events, hosted 12 virtual workshops, worked with over 60 external stakeholders, and continued to expand our global membership to 76 companies.
Ipieca also launched membership principles as a new condition of membership for its corporate and associate members. Setting sustainability expectations for members, the Ipieca Principles reinforce Ipieca’s role to inspire action and lead the global oil, gas and alternative energy industry through a sustainable energy transition.
