The Roadmap aims to accelerate the realisation of the SDGs by aligning the oil and gas industry around them, identifying 93 actions across eight impact opportunities and three systemic themes which Ipieca and companies working within the sector can take to contribute to a low-emissions future while contributing to a healthier, more prosperous world in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
In this joint webinar we will explore the impact opportunities across the climate, nature and people themes, identifying how Ipieca and its members can help to drive change and accelerate action in support of the SDGs. The industry has a key role to play in achieving the ambitions of the SDGs by providing affordable and reliable energy essential for economic growth, employment, education, eradication of poverty and global health, as well as continuing to scale-up its climate change action, to support a world aspiring to net-zero emissions.
