Ipieca has published the report of its 40th Anniversary conference held in London on 3 April 2014. In addition to charting and celebrating Ipieca's history and achievements since 1974, the report highlights the conference's focus on identifying what more Ipieca can do to support the industry in meeting society's current and future expectations for environmental and social performance.

With over 200 participants from more than 70 global organizations, and a wide range of high level speakers and panelists, the conference demonstrated both the convening power of Ipieca, and the breadth and depth of its partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

The report details the inputs and outputs from panel-led discussions on the challenges relating to climate change, the environment and social responsibility. Insights are shared from a wide range of industry speakers, as well as those representing external organisations including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the World Resources Institute, the United Nations Environment Programme, Oxford University, the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme.
