Building on the first and second progress reports, this report shares the progress of both Ipieca and its members, demonstrating how the Roadmap is being implemented. A traffic light system is utilised to track progress. A selection of case studies showcases the breadth of member progress, alongside key indicators, identified through desktop research of members’ websites and sustainability reports.
The case studies cover Ipieca's three strategic pillars of climate, nature and people. This year a new section has been added on reporting and measurement, sharing how members report on their priority targets and contributions, and highlighting the industry’s commitment to accelerating action on the SDGs.
About the Roadmap
The Ipieca-WBCSD SDG Roadmap for the oil and gas industry (Roadmap) identifies how Ipieca, as an industry association, and oil and gas companies, can work towards a low-emissions future while contributing to a healthier and more prosperous world aligned with the 2030 Agenda.
