The annual survey provides a detailed and layered picture of the development of the reporting landscape and changing priorities across the industry. A selection of these results from the past ten years has been gathered and presented in an interactive dashboard.
For example, one result presented demonstrates how significantly the scope of reporting has expanded over the years (graph 3), leading to an increase in Ipieca’s workstream and objectives to reflect growing expectations on the sector.
Additionally, by including a section dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals in the annual survey, Ipieca can remain informed about how members are supporting the SDGs—which is a condition of membership under the Ipieca Principles—and facilitate knowledge-sharing among businesses (see graphs 13 and 14).
