Chevron, through Tengizchevroil (TCO), sponsors the Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity of Kazakhstan (ACBK) and its work on the Sociable Lapwing Conservation Project. This conservation project is an important biodiversity offset for TCO to achieve no net loss of terrestrial natural habitat.

TotalEnergies operates the combined photovoltaic and wind power plants of La Perrière, located near the Réunion Island National Park, a category II IUCN listed area. Given the site's location and to avoid and minimize its impacts on the sensitive habitat, TotalEnergies has developed a biodiversity action plan.

Ovintiv's water resource hubs in the Cutbank Ridge of its Montney operating area are closed-loop systems that run on hydropower. Since the hubs have opened, they have conserved approximately 1.3 billion gallons of freshwater, equivalent to the average annual water use of approximately 9,000 households.

Presented with the problem of limited existing baseline data pertaining to the fisheries present within a seismic survey area, an oil and gas company decided to partner with regional and national wildlife conservation groups and two universities to develop a fisheries study.

Since 2015, EOG has supported Texan by Nature, a collaborative partnership between natural resource users and conservation experts to promote conservation efforts that help sustain Texas's working lands, water supplies, and wildlife.

Empire Wind (a 50:50 partnership with bp) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) announced in September 2022 the extension to 2028 of their historic agreement to monitor large whales in the lease area of Empire Wind. The new agreement ensures that important data to protect wildlife in the New York Bight will be collected during the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases of the wind project.

Fluctuations in moisture levels year-over-year, and the potential impacts of climate change on water resources, make it increasingly necessary to understand the impact on freshwater availability.

Neptune Energy has partnered with the SOS Dolfijn Foundation in the Netherlands to further their commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life below water. The Foundation provides assistance to cetaceans in distress who end up on the Dutch coast or are in danger of stranding.
