Natural gas can have an important role to play in a low-emissions future, with clear benefits when compared with other fossil fuels, particularly in terms of climate impact and air quality improvements, if methane emissions are controlled across the gas value chain.
This workshop seeks to provide insight into technical issues that can influence adopted offshore O&G decommissioning strategies and share lessons learnt to enable IAEA Member States to make informed decisions when considering their own approaches. The workshop will be chaired by Janelle Branch Lewis, Waste Environmental Engineer from Ipieca member company Chevron.
