Ipieca publishes 2025 Annual Review

Oil and gas are key pillars of the global energy system, providing a large share of the affordable, reliable and accessible energy needed to fuel economic growth and improve living conditions for all. It is therefore essential to explore, develop, produce, refine and supply petroleum resources in ways that lower emissions, expand access to energy and water, reduce poverty, strengthen resilience, and help protect nature and local communities.
