
This quarter Ipieca attended the UNFCCC Bonn Climate Change Conference, UNEP-WCMC Nature Action Dialogues, ICAO Aviation Climate Week and IMO sessions. We also raised awareness of several UN days, and published two resources aligned with UN conventions and initiatives.

From a fuel-flexible gas turbine for shipping, a carbon credits initiative mobilising ecological restoration and green jobs in the Amazon, to a real-time methane emissions management platform, and a clean cooking programme—Ipieca members are continuing to innovate and deliver practical, scalable solutions to sustainability challenges across the globe.

The May round-up showcases members’ commitment to support the local communities where they operate including flood relief support, fund raising for local non-profits, scholarships and internships. We also cover progress on biofuels, nature-based solutions and solar facilities as well as a partnership approach to assist industrial customers’ decarbonisation efforts.

The April round-up showcases continued investment in the energy transition alongside community and nature focused initiatives. Key themes include financing for low-carbon fuels, quantifying carbon stock in Brazil, partnerships to support education, and marine and coastal ecosystem restoration.

The Review demonstrates how Ipieca is delivering on its strategic intent and provides a summary of activities and outputs from across Ipieca's work programme. It also features testimonials from member CEOs and stakeholders, as well as insights from working group Chairs.

This quarter Ipieca attended the UNCBD Regional Africa Business & Biodiversity Forum and the IMO technical seminar on marine biofuels. We also raised awareness of the UN World Water Day, as well publishing two resources aligned with UN conventions and initiatives.

The March round-up showcases members’ support for a range of energy transition technologies including floating solar, green hydrogen, bio-methanol and geothermal power. It also highlights how member companies contribute to the communities in which the operate through STEM programmes and hospital expansion projects. We share updates from our partners including the IMO’s technical seminar on marine biofuels and OGCI’s collaboration with Carbon Mapper.
