Its work emphasises the integration of sustainability principles across the oil and gas value chain, including emissions reduction, methane management, carbon capture, utilisation and storage, and the promotion of cleaner fuels and low-carbon technologies.
Through dialogue, joint studies and capacity-building initiatives, ASCOPE facilitates knowledge sharing and alignment with international best practices to support responsible operations, environmental stewardship, and long-term socio-economic development across the ASEAN region.
