The theme for this year's review 'Collaborating to drive change', reflects the strength of our membership to advance the performance of the oil and gas industry by working collaboratively together and with stakeholders. The review highlights some of Ipieca's achievements throughout 2018 across its activities including, climate and energy, environment, oil spill preparedness, social responsibility, sustainability reporting and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Reflecting on another busy year, Ipieca's Chair, Rupert Thomas (Shell) described how Ipieca 'continued to foster collaboration among its global membership and with key stakeholders' and noted how these 'collaborative efforts allow Ipieca members to continue to make notable contributions towards achieving the UN SDGs and advance environmental and social performance across the oil and gas industry.'
