bp and Iberdrola announce final investment decision for green hydrogen plant in Spain

The 50:50 joint venture partners have taken a final investment decision to develop a 25 MW green hydrogen project at bp's Castellón refinery, which is expected to be operational in second half of 2026.

Chevron expands CCS portfolio

The company has been awarded a greenhouse gas assessment permit offshore western Australia. The permit area will be evaluated as part of a hub for storing third party emissions, as well as those from Chevron’s operated LNG assets.

Together with Snam, Eni has announced the commencement of the first phase of the Ravenna Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project, the first project for the capture, transport and permanent storage of CO₂ in Italy.

Electrifying to reduce emission from Equinor’s Troll fields

Equinor has partly electrified Troll B and C fields in the North Sea with power from the shore. This measure will reduce annual emissions by 250,000 tonnes of CO2.
