Ipieca is part of the UN Sub-Committee of Experts on the GHS. The application of Globally Harmonized System (GHS) criteria to petroleum substances was developed by Ipieca to facilitate appropriate human health hazard classification and labelling of petroleum substances within the UVCB group.
The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) continues to evolve with jurisdictions adopting different revisions, implementation approaches and regulatory priorities. As a result, industry and regulatory stakeholders face a growing need to better understand emerging developments, implementation challenges and opportunities for greater alignment.
Ipieca is launching a regional webinar series that will begin with a global overview, followed by regional sessions covering Latin America, South East Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
